SimpleAssessment was created by InfoSource Learning when school districts across the country turned to us for help.
We’ve been involved with technology proficiency for over 25 years. We are involved in partnerships with leading technology companies such as Certiport and are a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner. School districts, education consortiums, and State Departments of Education rely on InfoSource Learning to provide their teachers, students, and administrators with high-quality, cost-effective technology training. It’s only natural they'd ask us to help them with a student technology assessment!
The No Child Left Behind Act stipulates that all students must be technologically literate by the end of 8th grade. However, many schools across the country are struggling to find an easy, cost-effective, measurable way to assess the tech literacy of their fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. So, they asked us to create this much-needed student technology assessment.
But we can’t take all the credit. We created a Technology Assessment Committee composed of school technologists and educators from across the country to help us on our journey. Now, SimpleAssessment is ready to help school districts - large and small - meet the NCLB requirements. Simply.
